I’m trying to plan ahead because my XT5’s battery is from 2021 and with summer coming I’d rather not get stranded on Hessa Street like my neighbor did last week. Been looking at a few options and I keep circling back to https://batteryzoneuae.com/cadillac-battery-replacement/ because the pricing seems clearer than some of the shops I called that kept giving me “it depends” answers. What I’m wondering though has anyone actually gone the online route for a Cadillac battery and had a good experience? Like do they deliver the exact AGM spec with the right CCA or do you end up with some generic that kinda fits? Also curious about the whole coding thing because I read that newer Cadillacs need the battery registered to the ECU otherwise the charging system acts weird. Would a mobile guy from an online service know to do that or is it more of a dealer-only thing? Basically trying to figure out if saving a few hundred dirhams is worth the potential headache down the road. Appreciate any honest opinions from people who’ve done this.
