ParticipantHi everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced strange electronic issues in their Mercedes before finding out the battery was the actual problem. Over the last few days my car has been behaving oddly in small ways that are hard to explain. The screen froze once while reversing, the interior lights dimmed slightly during startup, and yesterday the parking sensors stopped working for a minute before suddenly coming back again. The car still drives normally, which is why I kept ignoring it at first, but now I’m starting to think all these little things might actually be connected.
I honestly didn’t realize how sensitive modern Mercedes systems are until I started reading about it online. I always thought a battery problem simply meant the car wouldn’t start, but apparently low voltage can affect all kinds of electronics before complete failure happens. While searching through different discussions and service pages, I ended up checking http://www.dubaicarbattery.ae/mercedes-battery-replacement because a few people mentioned that these symptoms are more common than most drivers realize, especially in hot weather conditions.
The battery in my car is around two and a half years old, so maybe it’s already reaching the point where performance starts dropping. I’m just unsure whether I should replace it now before things get worse or wait until there’s a more obvious sign. Has anyone here noticed random electronic glitches before their battery finally died completely? Curious to know how long you drove with those symptoms before replacing yours.
